STEM Ambassadors have the opportunity to build relationships with a wide range of public audiences. Through our STEMAP community engagement programs, Ambassadors have the opportunity to strengthen communication skills, explore the applications of their research, develop new ideas, and establish continued support within the broader community.
Additionally, STEM Ambassadors benefit from the bonds built between researchers. Individuals from numerous scientific fields, including Anthropology, Biology, Physics, and Geology, participate in STEMAP. This diverse cohort can provide unique perspectives on research projects and the presentation of resulting work. These relationships create the possibility for cross-program collaborations, and bolster the funding and engagement potential for individual researchers.
